the dishes with shallow rounded sides rising to a flared rim, each decorated with three lotus heads and attendent buds wreathed in scrolling foliage, all below a lotus band on the interior rim, the exterior with further lotus, the base inscribed with six-character marks; the bowl with deep rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, similarly decorated on the exterior with a continuous scroll issuing six lotus blooms and curling tendrils above a border of petal lappets encircling the base, the interior with a further lotus bloom, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark

All three dishes are generally in good condition. The Daoguang dish has a few expected light scratches on the interior and occasional imperfections in the glaze on the underside including a couple of pinholes. One Tongzhi dish has a minute brown spot on the interior rim, a pinprick bubble and a small glaze gap on the exterior rim, the other is also in good condition with only some minor grits on the interior and a pinhole in the glaze. The bowl is in good condition. There is some minor bubbling on the interior and a few further expected imperfections including a minute brown spot on the outside and a few minor specks on the rim. The actual colour of the group is brighter and more vivid compared with the catalogue illustration.
