the circular flat base rising up to a recessed rim, moulded on the exterior with three rows of chrysanthemum petals, covered overall save for the mouthrim and the footring with a pale vitreous blue glaze

There is a firing crack to the interior of the rim which has possibly been slightly aggravated and extended. There is minor fritting to the extremities of the bowl, particularly at the rim and at the edges of the petals, but overall in good condition. The glaze has more of a vivid‎ bluish tone than shown in the catalogue photo.
