明萬曆 青花「雙龍爭珠」紋盤 《大明萬曆年製》款

the shallow rounded sides rising from a short slightly tapered foot to a flared rim, the interior decorated with three ruyi-shaped clouds, the exterior with two dragons chasing a flaming pearl while writhing sinuously amidst ruyi-shaped cloud swirls, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within double circles

There are two small chips to the rim and further fritting on the rim. There are three small glaze gaps on the rim on the opposite side. There are some light scratches to the interior and a pinhole in the glaze between the clouds. Otherwise the dish is in good condition. The actual colour is more cobalt and somewhat brighter compared to the catalogue illustration.
