清十九世紀 紫檀嵌寶「靈鳥獻壽」圖筆筒 《乾隆御玩》仿款

of cylindrical form, carved with straight sides, a slightly rounded rim and recessed base, finely decorated in multi-coloured inlays around the exterior including mother-of-pearl, malachite, lapis, coral, horn or lacquered wood with a long-tailed bird perched on a blossoming prunus branch stemming from the rim, all above leafy sprigs of lingzhi and nandina below, the base inset with a circular mother-of-pearl roundel carved with a four-character Qianlong seal mark (apocryphal), together with a fitted hardwood box labelled Qianlong yuwan zitan xiangqian bitong and fabric stand

There is some light wear to the inlaid and expected age crackles, one possibly stabilized under the bird, otherwise the brushpot is in very good condition. The fitted box is in good condition.
