each similarly carved in an archaistic style from a mottled russet-brown stone, with upswept tail and recumbent body, together with a small white jade 'rat' pendant, Qing dynasty
Condition
The pig and the brown rat pendants each bear some surface wear consistent with age, but are overall good. The small white jade rat pendant has nibbling or minor nicks to its edges. The actual colours are somewhat less yellow and more tinged to celadon compared to the catalogue illustration.
