the pendant carved from a toffee-colour stone with russet veining on the underside, modelled in the form of an archaistic crouching tiger, the white jade buffalo carved with head raised and tucked-in legs, detailed with a cord attached to its muzzle
Condition
Both carving are in overall good condition with expected minor nibbling to the edges and minor surface wear or pitting consistent with age. The buffalo is of a more celadon white colour, less grey compared to the illustration.The tiger pendant is slightly more pale. It is pierced in front and on the underside to thread a string.
