each carved from an even white stone, the official sporting a pointed hat, holding a fruit in his hand, the boy joyfully dancing raising one arm and a knee, one wood stand

The two figures are in overall good condition. The Buddhist official is pierced vertically (from the base to the top of the hat) to thread a string, the boy is pierced between his upper raised arm and his head to serve the same purpose. The actual colour is more white celadon, less grey compared to the catalogue illustration.
