carved crouching grasping a stalk of millet in its claws, naturalistically detailed with small eyes, a broad uneven carapace and eight hooked legs, the smoothly polished stone of an even pale celadon-white colour, wood stand
Condition
The carving is in good overall condition. There is one darker natural speck in the stone on one leg (visible on the catalogue illustration). The actual colour is pale celadon and less yellow when compared to the illustration in the catalogue.
