carved in the form of a furled lotus pad naturalistically detailed with veins and an attendant seed pod attached by its side, a leaf looping above the rim forming the handle, the pale celadon stone highlighted with patches of russet skin, wood stand
Condition
The carving is in overall good condition. There is a minute nick to the furled edge and some light pitting to the surface stone in areas. There is some further insignificant nibbling one other edges of the carving. The old reticulated wood stand has a few old chips. The actual colour is of a darker celadon tone, less yellow compared to the catalogue illustration.
