carved recumbent crouching on its clawed feet, its right hindleg tucked under its taut body and its bushy tail swept over its haunch, its gentle face detailed with globular eyes framed by curling brows, the stone of pale yellowing green colour with some calcified veins, wood stand
Condition
There are some natural calcified patches and occasional pitting in the stone, as visible on the catalogue illustration. There is some expected minor nibbling in areas, but overall the carving is in good condition. The colour of the jade is consistent with the catalogue illustration.
