- Hongmu
of rectangular form, boldly constructed with a single board extending and curving inwards on the narrow sides forming elegantly scrolling feet, the wood of a warm variegated brown colour
Condition
The stand is generally in good condition, consistent with its age and usage. There are a few ages cracks extending on the sides and underside including one of approx.12 cm. slightly opening on one of the rounded ends. There is an old dent (approx. 0.8 by 0.3 cm) on the top surface. There are also light scratches as well as some light discolouration or water stains to the top surface. The actual colour is close, if not slightly warmer compared to the catalogue illustration.
