each with deep rounded sides surrounding a domed centre corresponding to a recessed base on the underside, resting on a small narrow foot, deftly painted around the exterior with four medallions enclosing leafy peonies reserved in white against a blue foliage, divided by ruyi-shaped scrolls, the interior similarly decorated with a peony medallion, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue

The two bowls are generally in good condition. There is a small burst air bubble to the exterior of the rim of one. There are some further typical minor firing imperfections to both, including minute gaps in the glaze, occasional iron spots or pinholes. There are tiny blue dots scattered on the white ground to the interior of one.
