each with shallow rounded sides rising to a flared rim, decorated with three lotus heads and attendant buds wreathed in scrolling foliage, all below a lotus band on the interior rim, the exterior with further lotus, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark

Condition
There is a burst air bubble to the exterior rim of one, with some associated discolouration in the glaze. There are a few minute original nicks on the foot rim. The dish is otherwise in good condition. The other dish is also in good condition with a few typical minor firing imperfections on the base. One dish is of a slightly deeper tone of cobalt blue compared to the other (showing on the illustration in the catalogue).
