the eight-lobed sides rising to an octagonal neck and flared rim, decorated with the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems' above interlinked lotus sprays wreathed in scrolling foliage, the neck moulded with two ribs and similarly decorated with scrolling lotus and collared with ruyi at the rim, the mouth rim and foot picked out with trefoils
Condition
The vase is in good overall condition. There is some original fritting that has been polished on approximately 1/3 of the interior rim. There is a 0.5 cm hairline to the rim. There are a few impurities and specks in the glaze around the body.The actual colours are more vivid and bright compared to the catalogue illustration.
