the first with an ovoid body rising from a slightly flared base to a waisted neck and flanged rim, the opaque turquoise glass carved with two court ladies on a garden terrace, next to a large branch of camellia and below an overhanging willow tree, a pavilion on the reverse; the other of baluster form, carved with two squirrels clambering on fruiting vines issuing from pierced garden rocks, the glass of warm even opaque yellow colour

Condition
Both vases are in overall good condition. Surface scratches and minute extremity nicks as can be expected.
Yellow vase: There is a surface flake to one of the tendrils.
Blue vase: There is a small surface flake to the bottom of the fencing to the right of the lady with a frontal view as well as one of the leaves. Extremity nicks to the mouthrim. The colour of the catalogue illustration is more of a reddish tone.
