each with a tapered body supported on a straight circular foot, sweeping up to a high shoulder and everted mouth, the opaque white ground overlaid with a layer of bright translucent red glass, deftly carved through the ground in varied levels of relief with a prunus and a crab apple tree together with several magpies either in flights or perched on garden rocks
Condition
The two bottles are generally in good condition. Both have original air gaps in the glass or burst air bubbles, predominantly to the mouth rim. The interior rims are uneven with encrusted dirt. There is some wear or soiling around the body or occasional minor nibbles along the edges of the overlay. The two decorations differ slightly one from the other. The actual colour is less yellow compared to the catalogue photo.
