晚唐 / 五代 耀州窰青釉穿帶瓶

finely modelled with slightly compressed ovoid body resting on a circular foot, sweeping up a constricted neck and almond-shaped mouth, set with two small lugs on each side resembling the fins of a fish, covered overall with a smooth even sea-green glaze, save for the underside left unglazed revealing a pale grey stoneware body

The vase is in overall good condition and the glaze particularly fine and smooth. There are a few typical minute gaps in the glaze, one one side of the rim and around the footrim. The actual colour is somewhat less yellow, more pale celadon, compared to the catalogue illustration.
