Condition
The painting is in overall good condition. The colours are fresh. There is a ca. 5x3cm wide tear to the paper to the centre of the lower part of the painting where the feet of the duck join the body as well as a ca. 4cm long tear to the paper on the lower right hand rim extending into the painting (just visible in the catalogue illustration). There are several horizontal creases to the paper (the longest along the lower edge of the painting visible in the catalogue illustration) and several lighter circular spots to the paper (one visible in the lower left hand corner and one in the centre of the upper part of the painting visible in the catalogue illustration).
