Base has original copper plate but has been opened in the past, the interior is empty. The flower on his side is detachable. The gilding is rich in tone with minor wear to the the back of the head and the edges of the casting. There is very light overall scratching to the surface. There are traces of white and red pigment to eyes and mouth. The incised details are very fine.
