The sheet is not laid down, but is adhered along the edges to a support mount. There is a very tiny tear to the centre of the top edge. There are old pin holes visible along the extreme edges, with corresponding areas of staining. There are deckled edges throughout and minor cockling to the sheet. There is a small area of loss to the bottom left corner, not visible in the present mount. There are areas of creasing, staining and surface dirt to an un-painted margin, not visible in the present mount, with further staining apparent to the sheet. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Housed behind glass in a gilt wooden frame, set within a cream card mount. There is an unfinished study on the reverse.
