Unexamined out of frame. The first: Sound board. There is some very minor surface dirt, but this excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The second: Original canvas. There appears some very minor signs of light surface dirt to the crevices of the thicker impasto, visible upon close inspection, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a few tiny signs of fluorescence and possible retouching to areas surrounding the extreme edges. Both housed behind glass in a thick pale painted wooden frame.
