Condition
Original canvas.
The work appears in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals a tiny fleck of fluorescence and probable retouching to the centre of the left hand edge, with a few further traces of fluorescence appearing elsewhere which may be in keeping with the nature of the artist's techniques and materials.
Housed in a thick gilt and painted wooden frame.
