Condition
There is a spot of loss in the top left corner, with further lifting in this area. There are further traces of lifting and traces of loss to the top and bottom left corners, with some possible in-filling in these areas.
Elsewhere there is minor surface dirt and traces of studio detritus, with flattening and very slight abrasion to some of the thicker raised globules of impasto, visible upon close inspection. There is a further fleck of loss to the yellow pigment along the right hand edge. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals extensive areas of fluorescence and retouching, including to the aforementioned areas of in-filling.
