Condition
This work is in good condition. There are accretions scattered across the canvas, particularly one white accretion, 23.5 centimeters from the top edge, and 3 centimeters from the right edge. There are a few pin spots of flaking around the figure and on the robe, but only visible upon very close inspection. Under UV light there are scattered spots of fluorescence that correspond to the aforementioned accretions.

《羅漢托缽》是藝術家少見的中國人物系列。雖然於十二歲就離鄉背井長居美國，伍澤樞經常於他的藝術中傳達其緬懷故鄉的精神。此作引用佛家經典「羅漢托空缽」的典故，以中國書畫的縱向卷軸形式及留白背景忠實地呈現中國傳統佛教人物，但其頭上奇特的寬型帽沿卻又反映出生活於紐約大都會的藝術家試圖將羅漢融入現代感的神采。
