This work is in very good condition. There are some very light creases in the top right corner, and a minor paint loss in the bottom right corner, but neither are intrusive to the image and are only visible upon very close inspection. UV inspection revealed no restoration.

《羅馬神廟遺址》是一幅十分精湛之小品；作品尺幅雖小，藝術家卻在有限的畫布上創造了開闊的視覺效果，並融入了希臘羅馬神話寓言故事。以羅馬古廟為背景，右方兩位身著傳統服飾的一男一女似是在和眼前的雕像祈禱著，令人發思古之幽情。
