紅梅瀲灩 詩書畫合一

1916年出生的陳庭詩，出身福建書香世家，兒時即讀千字文，學習水墨畫與書法，展露對於藝術極高的天分。8歲時因意外不幸失聰，但樂觀的他並沒有放棄自己，反而更加地投入藝術的世界。其作品出入古典與現代，傳統與前衛在他的身上相容不悖，其為「五月畫會」、「現代版畫會」的重要成員，對台灣現代藝術的推展有極大的貢獻。陳庭詩的創作形式多元，從版畫、水墨、書法、油畫、雕塑均有過人的表現，美國洛克斐勒基金會、國立台灣美術館、香港大通銀行均有其作品收藏。

《盛綻紅梅》為藝術家盛年的水墨代表作。畫中描寫兩株在冬日不畏霜雪，盛開的瀲豔紅梅，花兒朵朵飽滿溫潤，枝幹的線條下筆蒼勁自信，流露動人的生命力。藝術家並以極富個性的書法，在畫中題下北宋著名詩人蘇軾的〈紅梅〉七言律詩，詩裡描寫梅花孤高清朗，不同流俗的品格，正與陳庭詩率直的個性不謀而合。此不僅為「詩、書、畫」合一之作，更帶有作者人生自況及期許的隱喻，使作品更顯珍罕難得。
