This work is in very good condition. There are two spots of minor paint losses located approximately 18 cm from the right edge and 30 cm from the bottom. No evidence of restoration under UV.

劉玖通的藝術語彙與古典詩文淵源深厚，故能意在筆先，畫中有詩。「林無靜樹」一詞最早出於晉代郭璞所著的《幽思》——「林無靜樹，川無停流」。詩人以大自然的現象比喻天地萬物都是運動的，變化不止。幽靜深遠的的景色描繪下蘊藏着蓬勃的生命力，泓崢蕭瑟中飽含人生的感慨與哲理。
