Condition
The present lot consists of a marriage of several elements. The ebonized base is late 19th century and plays music of the same time period by means of comb and cylinder; the automata figures are late 20th century; the columns are likely 20th century and are electroplated; the clock itself is mid-19th century. The music is running and the clock will strike. The automata are functioning inconsistently but will require service. There is currently no pendulum and it is lacking glass hood. The going train is not functioning most likely due to the lack of pendulum.
