明嘉靖 紫檀木雕嵌銀線「梅花綬鳥」圖蓋盒 （傳）周柱製 《王和珍玩》款

of rectangular form with rounded corners, the slightly rounded cover finely carved in shallow relief with a crested long-tailed bird, perched on a gnarled stem with blossoming prunus flowers, above a tea shrub behind a perforated rock, all reserved on a diaper ground within a key-fret border embellished with silver wire inlay, the sides of both the box and cover similarly decorated with branches of roses and peonies on diaper ground, the continuous design interrupted by the silver-inlaid key-fret bands encircling the lipped rims, the base slightly recessed and incised in the centre with a four-character seal reading Wang He zhenwan (‘Treasure of Wang He’), the wood of a deep chestnut-brown tone

另有一紫檀蓋盒，器形及大小皆與此相近，邊緣亦飾類同嵌銀線回紋，繪松竹山景中人物馳騁於馬背之上，邊飾梅花，售於倫敦蘇富比2009年11月4日，編號175。

此蓋盒的雕刻風格與專場中一件筆筒（編號128）相仿，該品亦飾秀石花鳥，口沿綴嵌銀線回紋。

盒底為藏家王和落款，他乃民國時期居於上海的著名藝術鑑藏家。
