Condition
The painting is in good condition overall. The wooden panel is free from warping and cracking. There are indications of light wear and handling, but paint layers are well-preserved and stable. There are gentle craquelures notably on the white paint (center) and middle right (black paint). Under ultraviolet light examination, there are light networks of restoration on the child's white dress, figure's white sleeve (left), veil (middle) and apron (right). Framed.

安妮塔·馬賽賽·何的藝術眼光獨到，是戰後菲律賓最知名的十三位現代藝術家中唯一一位女性，其早期風格受印象派啟發，在五十年代則做出關鍵性的改變，漸趨現代主義，此作便是一佳例。
馬賽賽·何在這一時期的創作受其師肯尼斯·哈耶·米勒（Kenneth Hayers Miller）影響，線條果斷明確，所畫對象以幾何形狀代表。此幅《巡遊》中可見三個婦女與一個小孩緊圍在一起，燃點蠟燭，流露濃厚的家庭、信仰及傳統感情，是菲律賓的歷史與文化中最能引起共鳴的題材。馬賽賽·何運用細膩瀅透的蛋彩配合鄉村之景，營造出似冥想的肅和，而婦女黑色的頭巾則添上一分恰到好處的對比。
