Very good condition overall with a few scratches to the surface. Some retouching to the paint and the gilding of the frame.

On retrouve les deux Satyre enfants dansant de notre médaillon dans le bas-relief de Clodion de Satyre jouant de la fûte devant une nymphe qui l'écoute et deux satyres enfants dansant (Los Angeles, County Museum of Art), réalisé en 1773, en les intégrant dans un paysage fluvial encadré d'iris et de roseaux.
