Condition
Accompanied by two photocopies, one of the original receipt, one of a duplicate, each dated 24 December 1951, from Bijouterie Horovitz, 26, Rue Chérif Pacha - Alexandria, Egypt.
According to the receipts, the bracelet and brooch fitting consist of 116 baguette diamonds weighing a total of 12.48 carats (115 as one is now deficient), and circular-cut diamonds weighing: 1 = 1.28 carats, 2 = 1.79 carats, 2 = 1.03 carats, 2 = 0.70 carats, 3 = 1.05 carats, 7 = 1.86 carats, 9 = 2.00 carats, 7 = 1.15 carats, 36 = 2.29 carats, for a total diamond weight of 25.63 carats; on average G-I colour, VS-SI clarity (as few I), as graded in the mounting, one baguette diamond from the bracelet deficient. Oval motif easily unscrews with the use of the screwdriver from the bracelet bands and attaches to brooch fitting. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 66 grams.
