Condition
Ring size is 56, not 46 as stated in the printed catalogue. Brooch not visibly signed, as stated in the printed catalogue yet accompanied by a hand written note from Fulvio Maria Scavia stating that the brooch is his production. Ring signed Scavia, Italian assay mark and maker's mark. Both stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emeralds very well matched in colour, few typical crystal inclusions, few scratches, nicks and abrasions. Rock crystal in very good condition, minor chips, little traces of glue along the mounting. Enamel on brooch in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.50 - 8.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of little wear to the metal, few scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight of ring approximately 16 grams, of brooch approximately 38 grams.
