Condition

Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 95 121. Pin stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and brooch stamped PT 950 for platinum. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, few crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, few to some nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 15.00 - 16.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. With retractable hook so that the brooch may also be worn as a pendant. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, few solder marks to the reverse. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 26 grams.
