Condition
Stamped Pt 900 for platinum and OR to clip fittings for gold. According to the SSEF report, the sapphires measuring 16.68 x 14.56 x 12.78 mm and 16.66 x 14.58 x 13.84 mm, weighing 32.47 and 36.80 carats respectively, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, they are blue of medium strong saturation, with good transparency, with typical crystal inclusions, a few lightly surface reaching, well matched in colour. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.60 carats, of F-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of minimal wear to the mounting. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 28 grams.

"The described two sapphires not only exhibit an impressive size and weight of 36.808 ct and 32.471 ct respectively, but are highly matched in their well-saturated blue colour and their attractive shape and cutting style... Their saturated blue colour is due to a combination of well-balanced trace elements in these gemstones, typical and characteristic for the finest sapphires of Mogok, Burma...
