Condition
Signed Cartier PARIS and numbered 08424, maker's mark for Cartier. Stamped with French assay marks and Pt 950 for platinum and French assay marks for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report, the sapphire measuring approximately 20.90 x 16.45 x 10.50 mm, weighing approximately 34.00 carats, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, blue of medium strong saturation, with good transparency; with typical crystal inclusions, one minor nick to the girdle visible with 10x magnification, few minor abrasions visible under magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.50 - 8.50 carats, on average G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, very minor tarnish to reverse consistent with age and use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 24 grams.
