此王冠原為西班牙伊莎貝拉女王二世（Queen Isabella II of Spain ）送給女兒波旁公主（Infanta María de la Paz, Princess of Bourbon）（1862-1946）的其中一項結婚禮物，公主於1883年在馬德里王宮與王子Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria（1859-1949）成婚。

Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 40.0-50.0 carats, of mix of colours and clarities, ranging from H-M colour, some of yellowish tint, on average SI to I clarity. Tiara frame easily attaches with push pin fittings.Central tiara motif once detachable. Signs of wear to the metal, scratches and discoloration consistent with use and age. In good condition.
