此首飾套裝可能是送給法國波旁王室兩西西里瑪利亞公主 （1844-1899年），作為她與托斯卡尼王子奧地利大公卡爾·薩爾瓦托（1839-1892年）於1861年在羅馬的結婚禮物。後來由他們第七名子女奧地利女大公瑪麗亞·雷內里亞公主(1878-1968年)繼承，她於1900年在奧地利維也納與伍藤博格公爵羅伯特(1873-1947) 成婚，二人並沒有子女，其後由家族成員繼承。
Condition
Brooch and brooch fitting with Austro-Hungarian assay mark for gold with RAO letter for Vienna. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 20.00 - 30.00 carats, of mixed colours and clarities, bright and lively, as gauged in mounting. Garnets of purplish-red and orangish-red colour, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching. Accompanied by screwdriver to attached brooch fitting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and use, few signs of solder to the reverse typical of jewels of this age. In good condition.
