Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Larger brooch: Stamped 14K for 14 carat gold and signed Tiffany & Co. Rubies well matched in colour. The two largest diamonds on this brooch weighing approximately 0.70 carats each, bright and lively, as gauged and graded in mounting. Polished gold with signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Smaller brooch: Rubies well matched in colour with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, few minor chips and abrasions visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50 - 4.50 carats, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.

拋光黃金和旋轉主題是蒂芙尼在1940年代的代表設計，但採用紅寶石在戰時卻很罕見，當時大部分首飾主要採用價錢較相宜的寶石，如海水藍寶，黃水晶，璧璽及月亮石。
