Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Stamped 750 and with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Monture Boucheron with partial maker's mark. Ruby measuring approximately 12.7 x 9.9 x 7.2 mm, well saturated, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, few cavities. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.60 - 2.40 carats, bright and lively. One claw on ruby claw-set mounting misaligned. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition.
