Colour and Clarity: According to AGL report, the pink star sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Comments state that "this variety of corrumdum may also be called "star ruby" in the the trade. This gemstone displays a distinct and well-centred asterism (star effect)." Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, this gemstone is of medium, pinkish red colour, with a strong star effect upon spot lighting. Upon transmitted lighting, there are some silks and small feathers, not noticeable in normal lighting. Diamonds are of vivid yellow and H to I colours respectively, VS to SI clarity. Condition: This ring is offered without reserve, and the proceeds will be donated to xxxx. Platinum ring mount, overall in good condition.
