Condition
The movement is runing and the chronograph functions, including start/stop/reset/split and minute counter advance all function correctly when tested. The case is in very good condition with strong hallmarks and no obvious evidence of polishing. The bezel has several very light surface abrasions visible with a loop, the outer reverse has one vertical scuff to the edge, visible to the naked eye in the correct light. Overall very good to excellent original condition.Please note the movement has not been tested for timekeeping nor reliability and a service potentially due.Please note the strap is made from a restricted material, please see conditions of sale.

百達翡麗5959型號腕錶於2005年面市，其搭載了品牌首次自行設計並製造的計時機芯，亦是世界上最輕薄的導柱輪計時機芯。
製作極致精密的追針計時機芯是鐘錶製造業三大最具挑戰性的技術之一，深受藏家追捧。融合了軍官系列錶殼，白色錶盤及斜體阿拉伯數字時刻的5959P型號腕錶，其設計彷彿重現了1920年代百達翡麗佳作頻出的輝煌年代。此型號腕錶之機芯由252個精密部件組成，但其直徑僅為27.3毫米，厚度更僅有5.25毫米，至今仍然為世界上最輕薄的導柱輪追針計時機芯。另一特別之處為，將單一按鈕計時盤從常見的30分鐘計時盤改進為60分鐘計時盤。此型號機芯採用高級德國銀材質，嚴格控制報時精準度，出品甚為稀有，皆因每一枚出廠前都需要經過反复測試，專業製表師需耗時2個月才能完成整個組裝及調試過程。
雖然我們仍可以在百達翡麗的產品圖錄上看到5959型號腕錶，但眾所周知，它是品牌最難入手的型號之一，必須通過特別訂單進行訂購，更凸顯其彌足珍貴。
