Condition
The present watch is in mint condition and protected in the factory plastic bag (possible re-sealed due to custom checking).
Please note the movement has not been tested for time keeping. Please also note that the plastic bag will need to be cut open and the strap will need to be taken out if an overseas shipment is requested to be arranged after sold.

首次亮相拍賣市場，此枚5101型號珍稀罕有，搭配黑色面盤、鑲鑽石時標及紅色小秒針，與原本的鮭魚色配鉑金錶盤設計大相徑庭，低調華美的外型另有一番典雅迷人的氣質。據知腕錶為特別訂製款，彌足珍貴。
此鉑金錶款於2003年推出，向約於1956生產的長方形陀飛輪腕錶致敬，此型號記載於Huber, M. & Banberry, A.所著的《百達翡麗懷錶》第二版第一卷第178-179頁。三段階梯式錶殼設計呈現其早期裝飾藝術風格。為了將兩種罕有複雜的功能結合，百達翡麗工程師花費三年的時間，研發出可以承受十日鍊運行所需扭力的新型陀飛輪機芯。為了避免分鐘齒輪遮擋陀飛輪運轉之美態，整個動力傳輸機制的位置被移至錶盤側方。陀飛輪作為機芯主要部件則位處機芯橋一側，透過藍寶石水晶錶背透蓋可一覽無遺。旋轉陀飛輪架包含了72個精密部件，僅重0.3克。
雙發條盒內所串聯的發條提供10日動力儲存所需之能量，兩者同時上鏈，大發條盒可將動能轉移至另一小發條盒。前者備有調節器系統，防止主發條上鏈過度，在上滿鏈時脫離發條桶。因腕錶結構繁複精細，製錶師需要三個月時間才能完成一隻5101型號腕錶的製作。錶款初發行時僅推出鉑金材質，於2009年停產，粉紅金及黃金材質繼而承接面市。
