Condition
Movement is in working order while cataloguing, but it has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense. Later dial nicely crackled and aged into a perfect example of a "spider" dial. Indexes and hands are no longer glowing. Case in good condition with small dents to the right side band. Later bezel in good condition.

This watch is a typical example of a Military issue Rolex Submariner with reference 5517 engraved on the left bottom lug and reference 5513 between the lugs produced for one year only between 1974 and 1975. At that time only one batch was delivered to the British Ministry of Defence. Another particularity of Military watches noticeable on this piece resides in the serial number inside the case back matching the usual digit between the lugs. This particular example bears a dial from the mid 80’s that has beautifully aged into a spider dial.
