Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing and the chronograph function appears fully operational, however it may require a service in the near future to be well preserved. Dial in very good condition. Case most probably re-polished showing some small dents to the band. Overall in good condition and was recently revised by Patek Philippe.

此罕見之品保留完美的出處，由1961年購入的第一手買家提供，是一位美國空軍導航員，服務RF-4C駐東南亞，在整個服役時期使用。此錶款非常適合軍事用途，堅固，精鋼，防水錶盤，雙色調錶盤更加是畫龍點睛。帥氣的雙色調結合磨砂外殼和光亮的刻度，增加了錶盤的深度和變化。雙色調錶盤一直受藏家青睞，因其對光源和錶面物質不斷變化。除了美學，雙色調錶盤具有實用功能，明確的劃分測速儀和計時器分秒刻度。
型號1463是百達翡麗首款防水計時錶。於1940年面世，該型號主要用黃金製造。是繼百達翡麗的首個計時錶系列（型號130）發布後僅4年生產的，明顯回應運動員要求堅固的時間記錄，可以承受劇烈活動，防水防塵，否則會損壞手錶。百達翡麗委託製錶專家Taubert & Fils製作型號1463的錶殼。從19世紀末，腕錶生產在Frères Borgel名義下，Taubert & Fils是日內瓦最享負盛名的鐘錶匠兼專家，製造高質素的防水防污的錶殼。
