cast seated in dhyanasana with right hand holding the end of a willow stem and the left hand holding a cup, dressed in loose, flowing robes with chased floral borders, the contemplative face framed by the knotted plaits and elongated earlobes suspending ornate earrings, the elaborate openwork tiara centered by a figure of Amitabha Buddha

Condition
There is age appropriate wear and loss of gilt. The figure has been polished. There are also a number patches to the back, around the base and to the chest. The top of the willow sprig, one point of the tiara and the ruyi ornament at the back of the tiara are missing. One tip of the tiara is also chipped.
