each side painted with a scene from a tale in the Qing dynasty short story collection 'Strange Tales from Liaozhai', each painting identified by its title inscribed in the top right corner, one side inscribed Qiaoniang, the other Qingfeng, with a dedication to elder brother Shaoan and signed Ye Zhongsan, with one seal reading yin

Condition

There is a 1/4 in. (0.3 cm) chip to the footring, and some age consistent wear to the painting.
