of pear shape, decorated in lacquer and soapstone to form a continuous scene of two ladies and two children in a fenced-in garden setting surrounded by flowering trees and rocks, the details picked out in gilt and polychrome pigments, all beneath a lacquer thread lappet border around the mouth
Condition
There are minute nicks to the rim. There is wear and small losses to the gilt-lacquer and the outer section of one lappet is missing. There are small losses to the decoration to the left of the boy and right of the lady.
