the interior carved in medium relief with two carp swimming amongst peony, the exterior with a frieze of a lotus scroll, the peony-sprig handles suspending loose rings, all raised on four tabbed feet, an incised apocryphal six-character Qianlong mark to the base, the dark green stone with characteristic mottling throughout and pale gray striations
