carved in the form of an archaic bronze gui vessel, raised on a square pedestal, the rounded sides with two taotie masks, reserved on a leiwen ground, below monster masks and vertical flanges, set with a pair of tabbed loop monster-mask handles, the pale green stone with brown and russet inclusions

The base of the vessel with a drilled hole that has been filled. One corner of the pedestal has been out and restuck and there is a chip to that corner. There are scattered nicks around the base, the rim and also the top of the handles.
